CNC Machinist - 3rd Shift -

Available We are looking for a dependable and experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to join a growing manufacturing team. This position will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC turning equipment while making sure parts are produced accurately and meet quality expectations. You'll work from blueprints and job specifications, make tool and offset adjustments as needed, and monitor the machining process to keep production running smoothly. What You'll Be Doing Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce precision components. Load tooling, set offsets, and make machine adjustments as needed. Review blueprints, drawings, and job specifications before machining. Monitor machines during production and make adjustments to maintain quality and consistency. Inspect completed parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment. Troubleshoot basic machining and production issues. Make tool and offset changes to keep parts within required tolerances. Follow established quality and safety procedures. Keep the machine and work area clean, organized, and safe. Work independently while communicating effectively with the production and quality teams. What We're Looking For Previous CNC machining experience. CNC lathe/turning experience is required. Experience setting up and operating CNC lathes. Comfortable reading blueprints and understanding dimensions and tolerances. Ability to make tool offsets and basic machine adjustments. Experience with Haas, Doosan, Mazak, or similar CNC equipment is a plus. CNC programming experience is a plus. Familiarity with G-code and basic program edits is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts. Reliable attendance and a solid work ethic. Ability to safely work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
