Job Description

Job Overview Manufacturer of thermal spray equipment, proudly based in Appleton, Wisconsin. Machinist with the ability to run multiple machines. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with the desire to learn. This role will lead them to become well-versed in the machining field.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate Mazak Turning Centers and/or Mazak Mills to produce precision components. Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to ensure dimensional accuracy. Operate manual mills for secondary machining operations as needed. Perform part inspections using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges). Monitor machine operation to ensure part quality and repeatability. Maintain and clean machines and work area. Follow and promote all safety and quality procedures. Support a collaborative, problem-solving team environment.
Required Qualifications:
Completion of or enrollment in a two-year Machine Tool Technician program, or equivalent on-the-job experience. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints. Proficient with manual measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.). Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Mazak Mills and Lathes. Familiarity with Mazatrol conversational programming (training available). Experience machining precision components for manufacturing equipment.
Pay:
$28.00 - $34.00 per hour
