POSITION SUMMARY
Machine complex parts to blueprint on a Toshiba Vertical Turning Lathe.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Operate and program a Toshiba Vertical Turning Lathes (VTL) with precision and efficiency Set up complex jobs and ensure parts meet tight tolerances Load/unload fixtures and change out parts for machine/machines by hand or crane Complex programming using cad cam software/G code knowledge Ability to program on the control and use CAM software when applicable Debur parts Skidding parts Rotate inserts and change tools Order tooling and gaging Fill out set up sheets Collaborate with machine partner Routine machine maintenance including but not limited to filling oils and coolant Responsible for making adjustments to programs and troubleshoot as needed Perform in-process inspection (Micrometer, caliper, thread gauges, etc.) o Set up new jobs o Perform program edits o Read and understand CMM reports o Understand rotary table use/centerline of rotation o Repair and rework parts o Understand complex machine programing o Understand scheduling Follows all 6S procedures, ISO/quality procedures, and all safety procedures and protocols.

High School Graduate or Equivalent
Work Schedule:
1st Shift and 2nd Shift 1st
- M-Th 6:00am
- 3:00pm, F 6:00 am
- 12:00 pm, additional hours as required 2nd
- M-W 3:00pm
- 3:00am, 3 day work week, paid for 40 hours.

$25.00
