Lead prototype development and production5-axis programmingWork with engineers on custom projectsProgram and operate CNC machines for complex partsProgram complex parts using provided CAD/CAM software Inspection using manual gauges and instrumentsUnderstanding of GD&T and ability to read 2-D drawingsMonitor an inspect the part throughout the machining processObserve all company quality and safety proceduresCommunicates and collaborates with team members in the sharing of information and solving technical issuesParticipates in Lean manufacturing eventsTeam Lead(Optional): Oversee team of machinist, provide technical direction, and manage projectsQualifications/Requirements:
High School Diploma or GEDAssociate degree in a relevant field or (5+) years of experienceExpertise in CNC programming, 5-axis machiningAbility to read and interpret complex technical specificationsExpertise in working with exotic materials and tight tolerancesStrong work ethic and high attention to detail Flexible, ability to work in a fast-pace team environment Able to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information Great communication skills Team Lead(Optional): Experience mentoring or supervision junior staff, leadership skill, experience managing projects or teams of varying skill level.What we offer:
