In person About the Position Guthrie & Frey is looking for an organized, dependable, and customer-focused Dispatch & Customer Service Coordinator to join our team. This position is primarily responsible for scheduling our customer needs, dispatching technicians, planning efficient routes, managing schedules, and keeping daily service operations running smoothly. You will also provide excellent phone support to customers, assist with basic equipment troubleshooting, and coordinate service when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Support Provide friendly, professional customer service by phone. Listen to customers, identify their needs, and determine the appropriate solution. Assist customers with basic equipment troubleshooting and operation. Determine when a technician visit is needed and schedule service accordingly. Clearly communicate appointment times, updates, and delays. Handle customer concerns professionally and work toward a positive resolution. Dispatch & Routing Dispatch technicians based on location, availability, skills, and customer needs. Plan and optimize daily routes for efficiency. Monitor technician schedules and make real-time adjustments as needed. Resolve scheduling conflicts and prioritize urgent service calls. Communicate schedule changes and customer updates to technicians. Maintain accurate dispatch and scheduling information. Qualifications Excellent phone and customer service skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Comfortable troubleshooting equipment and learning new systems. Good geographic awareness and ability to plan efficient routes. Dependable, flexible, self-motivated, and a strong team player. Dispatch, routing, scheduling, and customer service experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.
