Plastic Injection Machine Operator - 2nd & 3rd Shifts

Are you a motivated and detail-oriented Plastic Injection Machine Operator? If so, we want YOU to join our team on 2nd or 3rd shift. In this vital role, you will operate and monitor plastic injection molding machines to produce efficiently and safely. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for Production & Assembly of 2-Wheeled Trash Carts, Trash Cans, and Waste Containers in our fast-paced plastics manufacturing environment. Work with equipment to assemble quality products, manage work orders, inspect for standards, and keep production flowing smoothly. Duties Set up, operate, and troubleshoot plastic injection molding machines, ensuring optimal performance and product quality. Remove injection molded products from conveyor belt beside injection molding machine Trim excess plastic ("flash") using small hand tool (scraper) Perform hot-stamping by lifting Trash Cart base to imprint customer name/logo Assemble Trash Carts with lid and wheels, then stack, plastic wrap, and move to finished area Complete simple counting and reporting for production, quality control, and inventory Manage daily work-orders (written and verbal instructions) Follow procedures to meet customer specifications Inspect products for 100% quality Attend all training and safety meetings Follow safety guidelines including required PPE Other duties as assigned Experience Previous experience operating plastics injection molding machines in a manufacturing setting is highly preferred. Qualifications and Education Requirements High School diploma or equivalent Read, write, understand, and follow work instructions, charts, and signs in English Basic math skills for counting, inventory, and production reporting Able to work in fast-paced manufacturing environment Dependable with promptness and excellent attendance Team player with positive "can-do" attitude Strong attention to detail; follows verbal and written instructions Able to pass background check, and pre-employment drug screening Provide required identification for employment eligibility
