We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual who is passionate about precision and quality. As a Shear Operator, you will play a crucial role in our production process, ensuring that materials are cut to exact specifications. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working with machinery, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities Set up and operate shear machines to cut materials according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine cutting requirements. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on shear equipment. Monitor the quality of cut materials and make adjustments as necessary. Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Document production data and maintain accurate records of work performed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining or manufacturing preferred. Proven experience as a Shear Operator or in a similar role within a machine shop. Strong understanding of machine operation and safety protocols. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
