The Operators solder and weld connectors to cables according to customer requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Reads and interprets engineering documents Follows work instructions to produce flexible and semi-rigid cables per customer requirements Works with Engineers to problem solve production issues Preps cables to prepare for assembly Solders or welds connectors to cables Measures and bends specialty cables to specific dimensions Completes required documentation Qualifications/Requirements High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment Experience manufacturing cable or cable assemblies, preferred Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions Ability to read micrometers and calipers Ability to read, speak and understand English Welding or soldering experience, preferred Ability to perform basic math functions (add, subtract, multiply and divide), including working with fractions and decimals.
