Job Summary:

Flexible Packaging Manufacturing Company is seeking hard-working, motivated, and responsible individuals looking for long-term employment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties:

Perform equipment setup and adjustments on production equipment used to convert plastic film into bags. Set up and adjust polyethylene bag machines. Troubleshoot and make minor mechanical adjustments, including weak seals, sticking bags, zipper problems, tension control, punches, and quality control adjustments.

Job Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience working with machinery; flexible packaging experience preferred. Ability to use hand tools and read production orders and converting specifications. Must have own tools. Must be able to read a measuring tape. Good reading and writing skills required. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required. Ability to lift and carry up to 55 lbs. independently. Ability to bend, stoop, pull, reach overhead, stand, walk, and perform heavy manual work.
