Chemill General Helper Precision Metal Products - 3.2 El Cajon, CA Job Details Full-time $20 - $22 an hour 5 hours ago Benefits Opportunities for advancement Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Position Summary Entry-level position in the Chemill Department. This role supports chemical milling operations and may lead to advancement opportunities such as Chemill Operator or other forge operator roles within the department. Principle Duties and Responsibilities Assistwith chemical milling preparation, including part identification, tagging, and handling. Count, inspect, and prepare metal parts before and afterchemillprocessing. Clean andmaintainwork areas, tanks, racks, and equipment. Load and unload parts into chemical baths, rinse tanks, and etching stations according to safety procedures. Monitor process flow and communicate abnormalities to operators or supervisors. Perform light grinding, masking, or de-masking as needed for part preparation. Safelyoperatebasic support equipment such as hoists, wash stations, and drying units. Assistinmaintainingchemical bath levels and ensuring proper labeling of chemicals. Follow all hazardous material handling and PPE requirements in thechemillarea. Perform other duties as assigned. Experience and Education Required High School diploma or equivalent Technical Skills Experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to lift 40pounds throughout the shift. Ability to read production instructions in English. Physical Demands Must be able to stand up to three hours at a time and during an 8-10 hours shift. Must be able to sit, bend, twist, stoop, reach overhead. Uses hands to grind metal parts. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds. Must be able to work in a heated environment.
