El Monte, CA Job Details Full-time $23.97 - $28.88 an hour 12 hours ago Qualifications English High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Who we are: The Gill Corporation is one of the world's largest manufacturers of honeycomb, high performance floor panels, cargo compartment liners and original equipment for passenger and freighter aircraft. The company also excels in many other types of reinforced plastics including interior sandwich panels for creating structures such as aircraft galleys and bulkheads, honeycomb core and related products. Stack piles Nomex, Kevlar and Fiber Glass printed rolls.
Responsibilities:
Stack Nomex, Kevlar and Fiber Glass blocks using a caul sheet and stalking bar. Set up sheeter stacker machine. Loads required paper per work order. Run block based on work order required, number plies and length. Inspect sheets for fold overs, contamination or any other foreign objects. Fill out shop planner with date and time of when blocks started and finished and signs it off. Record labor transactions in SAP. Make aluminum pin plies. Apply and practice 5S concept to maintain a safe and clean work environment. Must be available to work any shift, over-time and weekends. Other duties may be assigned dependent on TGC business requirements. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma Must be able to speak, read and write English well Must be able to lift, push and pull a minimum of 50 lbs.
