Job Description

Key Responsibilities Machine Setup:
Load raw resin pellets into hoppers, adjust barrel temperature profiles, and align dies or screen packs.
Production Monitoring:
Watch continuous output runs (such as blown film bubbles or extruded sheets) to maintain correct gauge, width, and tensile properties.
Quality Control:
Inspect finished packaging material for defects, tears, or uneven thickness, logging data into quality assurance sheets.
Maintenance & Safety:
Clear minor clogs, perform routine cleaning, and follow plant safety standards like lockout/tagout protocols.
Requirements Education:
High school diploma or general education equivalent; technical certificates in plastics technology are a plus.
Experience:
Ranging from entry-level trainee positions to 3+ years of hands-on experience with specific blown-film or co-extrusion machinery.
Physical Demands:
Ability to stand for long shifts, lift heavy material loads (up to 50 lbs / 23 kg), and work in warm or fast-paced industrial environments.
Compensation / Pay
Rate (Up to): $17.00 - $18.00
