Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient operation of various industrial equipment and machinery used in production processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery to produce high-quality products in accordance with safety standards and technical specifications. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment where precision, safety, and efficiency are paramount. Responsibilities Operate a variety of manufacturing equipment including CNC machining centers, CNC lathes, milling machines, stamping presses, press brake machines, and flexo presses to meet production targets. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production documents accurately to ensure proper machine setup and product specifications. Program and troubleshoot CNC machines using CAD (Computer-Aided Design), CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing), and CNC programming techniques. Conduct precise measurements using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other precision measuring instruments to verify dimensional accuracy and adherence to GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards. Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting on industrial equipment to minimize downtime and ensure operational safety. Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling tools; prepare components for assembly or further processing. Follow safety protocols diligently while maintaining high standards of quality control throughout the manufacturing process. Collaborate with team members on assembly line tasks, tooling setup, fabrication processes, and packaging operations. Maintain accurate records of machine operation data, production metrics, and quality inspections. Requirements Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, or flexo presses within a manufacturing or factory environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings effectively. Proficiency in CNC programming, CAM programming, and familiarity with Fanuc controls is highly desirable. Ability to read and interpret shop math, technical specifications, and production documents accurately. Experience with industrial equipment troubleshooting and preventive maintenance practices. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments including proper use of hand tools and personal protective equipment. Familiarity with materials handling equipment such as forklifts; valid certification preferred. Excellent attention to detail with strong skills in dimensional measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments. Basic math skills necessary for tooling adjustments and quality assessments. Effective communication skills for working collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
