Job Description

Adecco is hiring immediately for Manufacturing Machine Operators to support production at Oakley in Foothill Ranch, CA. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment offering weekly pay, competitive benefits.

  • What You'll Be Doing
  • Machine Operators perform short-cycle, high-volume machine operations, including loading and unloading products from equipment.
Responsibilities include completing machine setups for different product lines, including tooling installation and teardown. Operators make minor machine adjustments to ensure optimal performance and validate product quality before production runs. The role involves troubleshooting minor to moderate equipment issues, inspecting product quality to ensure specifications are met, and identifying defects while communicating findings to the production team. Operators ensure materials and tools are available at their workstation and maintain key performance indicators across product lines. Accurate tracking and entry of quality, throughput, and downtime data into systems such as SAP, MES, and Go-Canvas is required. Depending on the work area, the position may involve handling minor chemicals. The role also requires working collaboratively with team members, operating multiple machines when needed, and promptly reporting quality, process, equipment, or material issues to appropriate personnel such as the Team Lead, Production Supervisor, Process Technicians or Maintenance Technicians.
  • What We're Looking For
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
At least six months of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Comfort using basic computer systems. Solid math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Strong English comprehension to read, write, and understand safety procedures, work instructions, labels, and operating documents. Familiarity with powered and pneumatic hand tools. Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic production setting. Willingness and ability to work extended hours, including shifts longer than eight hours, weekends, and holidays as required. Work Environment and Physical Requirements Work takes place in a production-driven, high-volume manufacturing environment where safety is a top priority. Safety glasses are required. The role involves standing and walking for 8 to 10 or more hours per shift, pushing, bending, stooping, and reaching at shoulder level. Employees must be able to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally.
