The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Adobe Illustrator and experienced in operating various digital printing equipment and be capable of operating printing machinery with precision. This role is essential in ensuring high-quality print production, meeting client specifications and deadlines and maintaining efficient workflow. The Print Operator will work closely with the production team to deliver outstanding print products while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Adobe Illustrator General Function:

Set up and operate UV flatbed printing machines. Although the candidate would also be cross trained on other types of Digital Printing Equipment. Prep art files in Adobe Illustrator. Import print-ready files into RIP software. PMS match jobs according to customer requirements. Execute daily schedules according to prioritization given by lead or operations supervisor Perform daily preventative maintenance on equipment according to SOP. Maintain adequate levels of consumables Work shift: We are looking for two operators. One for first shift (5:00a-1:30pm) and one for second shift (2:00p-10:30pm)

Qualifications:

A minimum of two years' experience with Adobe Illustrator Experience in working with RIPS a plus Must be energetic and able to multi-task Have a good eye for color and quality Pantone matching with process colors a plus Be flexible with work shift(s) and be available for overtime Have good attendance and be punctual Have a sense of urgency Goal focused Planning and organizational skills Strong problem-solving skills Strong safety and quality orientation Must be able to lift boxes and trays of up to ten (10 lbs) Must be able to be comfortable working with solvents and thinners.
