Friday Machine Operator Duties:
Inspect the overall cleanliness of the machine work area. Coordinate with the Lead Person regarding the product to be run. Ensure that the line reeling and injector, as well as the labeler machine, are adjusted according to the specified bottle size for the production run. Verify that the bottles/containers/Labels and caps meet the required specifications (color, size). Check the supply of bottles, labels, and caps prior to machine operation. Conduct a preflight check of the equipment, including a product flush, and confirm that fill levels meet specifications. Perform a specification sheet inspection on the production line to ensure compliance with the outlined specifications. Conduct spot checks on the product being filled for visual contamination, off-color, and viscosity. Regularly monitor the level and supply of bottles, Labels and caps along the line. Monitor product temperature if applicable to certain products. Report any mechanical issues to the Lead Person or Supervisor. Complete line forms as required. Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and correct routine problems.
Data Entry Duties:
Assist the production supervisor in compiling and sorting production documents, checking them for accuracy. Collect data from production shifts, including downtime and pallet counts, and enter all the information into a spreadsheet. Verify and correct the data as necessary. Gather information on noncompliance packaging materials, including vendor and lot number, and complete a report for the noncompliance. Send communication emails to management. Store spreadsheets such as Daily DT and NCR in the designated OneDrive database. Track and manage production inventory, including caps, labels, boxes, and other materials Monitor material usage and report shortages or discrepancies
