All candidates will help to assemble, framing canvases. Candidates will be working around wood, wood dust and saw noise. Candidates must be able to operate hand saws, hand drills, nail or staple guns and must be able to read a tape measure. Candidates must be able to stand up to 8 hours per day, must be able to lift up to 50Ibs on their own and must be able to move around departments where help is needed. Candidates must be flexible and able to work Saturdays and overtime as needed. Operating woodworking machinery and hand tools safely Measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling wood materials Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications Sanding, finishing, staining, and painting wood products Inspecting materials and finished products for quality and accuracy Maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas Following safety procedures and using personal protective equipment (PPE) Loading, unloading, and organizing lumber and supplies

Requirements:

must be able to work Saturday and OT if necessary Read Tape measure Bilingual English and Spanish Previous woodshop experience; minimum 6 months Previous experience with power tools (i.e. saw, automatic joiner, staple gun, air compressor) Fluent English (bilingual English/Spanish is beneficial, but not required) Ability to perform and understand basic math Must be proficient with a tape measure Must be able to understand fractions and decimals Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted Good attendance and punctuality Reliable transportation Ability to work overtime as needed, including weekends
