Full Job Description Position:
Compounder/Mixer Shift:
Monday
  • Friday 6AM
  • 2:30PM Pay Rate Ranges from $22
  • 24 based on Experience Empire Workforce Solutions is seeking a candidate for a site in Livermore Ca.
The Chosen Candidate, under direct supervision of the Production Manager, is responsible for batch bulk production functions under cGMP guidelines. Responsibilities include pick and pull of appropriate raw materials, accurate weighing of required raw materials, performing required equipment cleaning and manufacturing of bulk batches. This position functions in support of the company's manufacturing and operation objectives, this position is a long term.
Job Responsibilities:
Pick and pull appropriate RM for bulk production. Assemble, maneuver and operate equipment as needed for bulk production. Prepare and sanitize equipment for bulk production. Manufacturing following strict and specific guidelines of Bulk Batch Tickets, SOPs and work instructions. Work closely with QC throughout batch manufacturing. Perform weighing of RM, heating, emulsifying, transferring products, and prepping bulk for proper storage or transportation to packaging accordingly. Work in teams of two to complete batches according to cGMP guidelines. Perform other pertinent duties as assigned.
Other Responsibilities:
Facilities cleaning & sanitation as needed. Assist with physical inventory counts. Maintain cGMP Compliance.
Job Requirements:
Knowledge, understanding, and experience with blending, compounding, or executing a recipe. Personal care manufacturing process knowledge a plus. Knowledge of cGMP in a pharmaceutical or personal care industry. Ability to lift-up to 70lbs. Strong attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Communicate effectively with management and personnel of all departments Strong sense of accountability, responsibility, and ownership of tasks assigned. Exhibit a professional standard and strong work ethic. Appropriate time management skills. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Ability to interface with other personnel within the company. Motivated self-started with ability to work in a team environment. Consistent performance with a sense of urgency and commitment. Must be able to stand on concrete floors for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift-up to 50 lbs. frequently. Must be able to ascend and descend stepladders. Must be able to push or pull up to 900 pounds or equivalency utilizing a manual cart. Must be able to stoop, squat, and bend. Must be able to frequently reach laterally, and overhead occasionally. Must be able to frequently grasp objects. Must possess sufficient visual and audio acuity to work safely and accurately in an industrial environment. Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Qualifications:
