This is a temp to hire opportunity with many opportunities to grow!
Packaging Technician Job Summary:
Pay:
$19 an hour
Schedule:
Monday- Friday, 1:00 PM- 9:30 PM Ensuring the required materials are available for production, and that the factory is safe for all workers. Inspect machinery and report any faults to management and workers. Identifying faults and troubleshooting wherever possible. Analyzing performance and products, then making suitable recommendations. Establishing high-quality standards and ensuring they are implemented by workers. Implementing preventative maintenance methods. Staying up to date with efficient methods of production and equipment maintenance procedures. Work with assembly line workers to develop an efficient packaging process. Ensure we are following all GMP and PPE standards. Address weaknesses or issues in the packaging process Following health and safety standards. Maintaining a clean workstation and production floor.
Packaging Technician Requirements:
• High school diploma or similar. Knowledge of production required. Experience in manufacturing would be advantageous. Problem-solving skills. Good powers of observation. Analytical thinking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to provide training. A positive attitude and willingness to work overtime when required. Must be able to fill out reports to document the production for the day. Must be able to give out instructions and directions to technicians on the line.
