Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Wrapper for Hose Assembly to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently wrapping and packaging hoses during the assembly process, ensuring products meet quality standards and safety protocols. Duties Operate industrial wrapping machinery to securely package hoses during assembly, adhering to production specifications and quality standards. Use measuring instruments and interpret technical drawings to ensure correct wrapping dimensions and specifications. Manage manual handling and heavy lifting tasks safely, following all safety protocols and ergonomic guidelines. Utilize hand tools and power tools for assembly line adjustments, maintenance, or minor repairs of wrapping equipment. Conduct routine inspections of hoses and wrapping processes to identify defects or inconsistencies, supporting continuous process improvement initiatives. Maintain accurate production documentation, including logs of wrapped units, quality checks, and safety compliance records. Collaborate with team members and manufacturing management to optimize workflow, implement lean manufacturing principles, and enhance overall efficiency. Qualifications Proven factory or manufacturing facility experience with a focus on assembly or packaging operations. Familiarity with measuring instruments, technical drawings, and interpreting production documents. Mechanical knowledge related to assembly line equipment, hand tools, power tools, and mechanical assembly techniques. Ability to operate forklifts safely; forklift certification is preferred but not mandatory. Strong understanding of safety standards in production environments, including safety protocol adherence and manual handling procedures. Experience with process improvement methodologies such as lean manufacturing is a plus. Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and adherence to manufacturing management directives. Physical ability for manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and standing for extended periods. $20.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
