Duties Operate envelope converting machines, including flexo presses and other converting equipment, ensuring smooth and efficient production cycles Interpret production documents and work orders accurately to set up machines for various envelope sizes and styles Conduct dimensional measurements and quality checks throughout the production process to meet strict quality standards in manufacturing Perform mechanical troubleshooting and adjustments on machinery to resolve issues quickly and minimize downtime Handle manual tasks such as paper packaging, material loading, and machine cleaning with precision and safety awareness Utilize forklift equipment for material handling, loading raw materials, and moving finished products safely within the facility Follow safety standards in production by adhering to safety protocol guidelines, wearing appropriate PPE, and maintaining a clean work environment Experience Prior experience operating industrial converting machines or flexo presses in a manufacturing setting is highly preferred Basic mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues on machinery Familiarity with manufacturing management practices, including interpreting production documentation and maintaining quality standards Knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including proper manual handling techniques and dimensional measurements Ability to perform basic math calculations for machine adjustments and quality inspections Experience working with industrial equipment such as machining tools, packaging machines, or converting machinery is advantageous Strong understanding of printing processes, paper packaging, and industrial equipment adjustment will set you apart Embark on a rewarding career where your skills directly contribute to the creation of top-tier envelopes!
