OMERIN USA, Inc. is looking for Machine Operators for its second shift (2:00pm - 10:00pm) to join our production team in Meriden. In this hands-on role, you'll operate and monitor manufacturing equipment, troubleshoot routine equipment issues, and help keep production running safely and efficiently. No previous machine-operation experience? That's okay. Manufacturing experience is helpful, but it isn't required. What You'll Do Set up and operate production machinery safely and according to established procedures. Load materials and adjust machine settings for production runs. Monitor equipment and production output to maintain consistency and quality. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications. Identify and troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report larger concerns. Perform routine equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenance. Complete production logs, reports, and other required documentation accurately. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Work closely with production, maintenance, and quality team members to meet daily goals. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent. Previous machine-operation or manufacturing experience is preferred, but not required . Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. Dependability, reliability, and a strong work ethic. Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team. Willingness to learn and grow your manufacturing skills. Physical Requirements Candidates must be able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive movements including bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling. The position requires the ability to lift at least 25 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. This position works around industrial machinery and may involve exposure to noise and varying temperatures. Required personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn and all company safety procedures must be followed.
Pay & Shift Differential Base Pay:
$19.00-$22.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
Second Shift:
Employees working second shift receive an additional $2.00 per hour , bringing total hourly compensation to $21.00-$24.00 per hour based on the employee's regular rate.
