Full Job Description Hours:
Full time- Monday -Thursday 6am-3pm. Fridays 6am-12pm. (overtime as needed). Packaging Associate The Packaging Associate will be responsible for ensuring that packaging processes of our elevator door products and completed systems are properly packaged, labeled, and prepared for shipment. The individual in this position will complete packaging tasks efficiently, accurately, and according to USDE standards. The packaging associate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are safely and efficiently packaged for distribution to customers, contributing to the overall success of the company's supply chain operations. Key Roles & Responsibilities Ensure that all assembled components meet quality standards and specifications. Conduct regular inspections and implement corrective actions as needed. May assist in managing inventory levels by keeping track of packaging materials and notifying supervisors when supplies are running low. Maintain accurate records of packaged products, including quantities, lot numbers, and expiration dates. Collaborate with other team members, such as warehouse staff and logistics personnel, to ensure efficient packaging and shipping processes. Troubleshoot packaging issues as they arise, such as machine malfunctions or packaging errors, and work to resolve them quickly to minimize disruptions. Keep packaging areas clean and organized to maintain efficiency and prevent accidents. Package and inspect as needed to ensure delivery goals Other duties and/or special projects may be assigned as required. Skills and experience Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of assembly techniques and tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and work under pressure. Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy. Ability to lift 75 lbs. Capable of bending, twisting, squatting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and standing for long periods of time while performing physically demanding repetitive job tasks. Attention to detail, self-motivation, ability to work in a team environment and neatness are essential skills for this position. About Us Under Elevantis Group, US Door Equipment Corp.
