Machine Operator - 3rd
Shift Pay:
$23.00/hour
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 11:00 p.m.-7:00 a.m.
Location:
Putnam, CT We are hiring a Machine Operator for a 3rd shift manufacturing position in Putnam, CT. This role involves operating roll-to-roll lamination equipment used in the production of specialty laminated materials. Prior roll-to-roll, roll-fed, or continuous web-process manufacturing experience is required. Relevant backgrounds may include slitting, rewinding, laminating, converting, coating, web-fed printing, film, paper, flexible packaging, or similar roll-based manufacturing processes.
Machine Operator Responsibilities:
Set up and prepare manufacturing equipment for production runs. Operate and monitor roll-to-roll production equipment. Adjust machine settings such as speed, tension, alignment, and other operating controls as needed. Monitor material throughout the production process and inspect finished output for defects or inconsistencies. Troubleshoot basic machine issues and make adjustments during production. Complete required production and quality documentation. Work safely around chemicals and solvents used in the lamination process. Follow all production procedures, safety requirements, and PPE guidelines.
Machine Operator Requirements:
Previous roll-to-roll, roll-fed, or continuous web-process manufacturing experience is required. Prior experience with slitting, rewinding, lamination, converting, coating, film, paper, flexible packaging, or similar processes is highly relevant. Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to set up, monitor, and make basic adjustments to production equipment. Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills. Experience with measuring tools such as calipers or micrometers is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive movements. Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, kneel, climb, and walk throughout the shift. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation. Please submit your resume to be considered for this opportunity. #MPGLI
