Job Description

ESCOMATIC TECHNICIAN / SETUP & OPERATOR
Palladin Precision Products is seeking an experienced Escomatic Technician / Setup & Operator to join our precision manufacturing team. We are looking for a hands-on machinist who understands Escomatic equipment and can independently set up, troubleshoot, adjust, and operate machines while maintaining tight tolerances and consistent production.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Set up and operate Escomatic machines Troubleshoot tooling, machine, dimensional, and production issues Make adjustments to maintain print specifications and tight tolerances Inspect parts using micrometers, comparators, calipers, pin gauges, and other inspection equipment Read and understand engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications Change, sharpen, adjust, and maintain cutting tools as required Monitor production for quality, efficiency, and tool life Work closely with Quality and Engineering to resolve manufacturing issues Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment/work areas clean and organized
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous Escomatic setup and operating experience strongly preferred Experience with Swiss-style, screw-machine, or high-volume precision machining will also be considered Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability Ability to work independently and take ownership of machine performance Good understanding of close-tolerance precision machining Ability to use standard precision inspection equipment Dependable and quality-focused
