Job Description

Position:
Bindery Operator - 2nd Shift Associates International is seeking a Bindery Operator to support our bindery and finishing operations. This role assists with operating and maintaining a variety of bindery equipment (Folders, Gluer-Folders, Cutters, Stitcher Trimmer, Die Cutters)used to complete printed materials. The position works closely with press operators, bindery staff, and Team Leads to ensure jobs are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule. We are looking for a team member with strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Schedule Options Full-time and part-time positions are available on second shift, with 5-day and 4-dayworkweek options. Compensation will be based on experience. Key Responsibilities Set up, adjust, and operate bindery equipment including folders, die cutters, stitcher-trimmers, cutters, and other finishing machinery Read and follow production job tickets and customer specifications Monitor product quality throughout production to ensure standards are met Perform machine setup, calibration, and changeovers Conduct routine preventative maintenance on bindery equipment Troubleshoot equipment or production issues and communicate with maintenance when needed Maintain bindery supplies and materials to support workflow Assist with department organization and 5S initiatives Follow all safety procedures and OSHA guidelines Lift and move materials up to 75 pounds Work collaboratively with team members to meet production schedules Perform other duties as assigned to support production needs Qualifications 3 years Bindery experience in a commercial printing environment preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability Ability to read and interpret job tickets and production instructions Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 75 pounds
Pay:
$24.91 - $27.00 per hour
