Previous manufacturing experience required Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Packaging Operator to join our manufacturing team. The Packaging Operator is responsible for operating packaging equipment, preparing products for shipment, maintaining quality standards, and following all safety and production procedures. Key Responsibilities Operate packaging and production equipment safely and efficiently. Set up, monitor, and adjust packaging machinery as needed. Package products according to established specifications and quality standards. Inspect finished products for defects, damage, or packaging inconsistencies. Accurately label, weigh, count, and prepare products for shipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area. Complete production records, quality checks, and other required documentation. Follow all company safety, GMP, and manufacturing procedures. Perform routine equipment cleaning and basic troubleshooting. Meet established production, quality, and efficiency goals. Work effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments. Perform other manufacturing and packaging duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Previous manufacturing or production experience is required. Experience operating machinery or production equipment preferred. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Ability to lift and move materials as required by the position. Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic. Ability to follow workplace safety procedures and use required PPE. Preferred Qualifications Previous packaging, assembly, warehouse, or machine-operating experience. Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment. Familiarity with production documentation and quality-control procedures. High school diploma or GED preferred. Work Environment This position works in a manufacturing/production environment and may involve standing for extended periods, repetitive motions, operating machinery, and exposure to normal production noise. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as required.
