September 20, 2026 This is a hands-on opportunity to independently operate a seasonal Halloween retail tent. The operator is responsible for setup, customer service, sales, merchandising, inventory control, cash handling, site appearance, security, and final breakdown. Compensation $6,000 seasonal location operation fee $500 progress payment available each week Remaining balance paid following successful completion of the season 2% commission on all qualifying gross sales Additional tiered performance bonuses available as sales volume increases throughout the season $500 successful setup payment $500 successful breakdown payment The combination of the seasonal operation fee, commissions, setup and breakdown payments, and performance bonuses provides substantial earning potential for operators who successfully manage a productive location throughout the Halloween season. Qualifying gross sales exclude sales tax, discounts, promotional reductions, refunds, voided transactions, and chargebacks. Responsibilities Complete tent and merchandise setup from September 15•20 Manage daily operation of the assigned Halloween tent Provide excellent customer service and actively encourage sales Learn the merchandise and help customers select costumes and decorations Maintain attractive, organized, clean, and fully stocked displays Operate the point-of-sale system and safeguard cash and inventory Monitor inventory and promptly report shortages or discrepancies Protect merchandise, equipment, and property from weather, theft, and damage Ensure the location maintains required on-site presence and overnight site-watch coverage Supervise assistants or qualified coverage arranged by the operator Complete final inventory, packing, cleanup, and breakdown The operator is not required to personally perform every task or remain at the location during every operating or overnight hour but is responsible for arranging reliable, qualified coverage. RV and On-Site Living Applicants with their own suitable RV or approved mobile accommodation are strongly preferred. Limited company RV accommodations may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Qualifications Retail, management, sales, or seasonal-event experience preferred Dependable, organized, trustworthy, and comfortable handling money Able to supervise workers and maintain accurate inventory Strong customer-service and sales abilities Available for the entire September 15•November 3 contract period Able to work outdoors and assist with physical setup and breakdown Willing to sign a written Seasonal Location Operator Agreement Independent Contractor Position This is an independent contractor opportunity requiring full-season commitment and personal responsibility for the successful operation of the assigned location. Operators are expected to manage the location professionally, maximize sales opportunities, maintain site standards, and ensure successful day-to-day operations throughout the Halloween season.
