This requires the set-up and assembly of single and/or multiple components into a final product, either manually or by operating the following basic bindery/finishing equipment: shrink-wrapper, 30-inch cutter, padding racks, rubberstamp assembly, three-hole drill, spiral punch & binder, tab laminator & cutter, stitcher, box maker, table-top folder, table-top laminator, and high-speed punch.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the accurate reading and comprehension of written job specifications. Job specifications provide the production details of each job/finished product. Responsible for the set-up and manual assembly of single and/or multiple components into a final kitted product. Responsible for the safe and efficient set-up and complete operation of all basic bindery/finishing equipment. Responsible for the correct packaging, correct labeling, and safe palletizing of final products. Responsible for the safe and efficient basic operator maintenance and cleanliness of all the equipment (and their respective work areas). Responsible for the timely and accurate accounting and reporting of production time and materials, via shop-floor data collection terminals.
