We're partnering with a well-established machine shop in Lakeland, FL that specializes in CNC machining and aluminum, carbon steel, and stainless-steel fabrication. They are currently seeking a Parts Handler to join their team. In this role, the Parts Handler will support machine operators with machine setup, unloading and moving materials, sorting and organizing finished parts, and assisting with general production tasks to keep the workflow running efficiently.   • Assist machine operators with setting up and preparing machines for operation, including loading materials and ensuring proper machine configuration
  • Unload incoming parts and materials from trucks or storage areas and move them to designated workstations or machines
  • Transport finished materials to sorting areas, ensuring items are organized and ready for shipping or storage
  • Sort and organize finished parts based on size, type, and order specifications for efficient handling
  • Conduct regular checks to ensure that all materials meet safety and quality standards
  • Maintain accurate records of materials received and processed, reporting any discrepancies to supervisors
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
  • Utilizes a software called TEKLA
  • Achieves weekly goals for production
  • Reports daily to Machine Lead for consumables and tools needed
