Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $14
  • $18 / hour What you'll be doing as a
Cable Inspection Operator:
  • Operate the Respool Machine in a cable manufacturing facility
  • Independently set up and operate the Respool Machine while monitoring product quality and attempting to repair damaged cable when possible
  • Use and navigate electronic screens (Human Machine Interface
  • HMI) to control machine operations and production equipment
  • Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to handle, move, and position heavy reels and cable products
  • Accurately maintain production and quality records in accordance with Gulf Cable procedures and systems
  • Operate and monitor the drawing control panel using the Human Machine Interface (HMI)
  • Properly identify and segregate scrap materials into designated scrap areas
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and safe material-handling practices
  • Immediately report any quality concerns or production issues to the Supervisor, Department Manager, or Team Lead
  • Load and unload raw materials and finished goods into designated locations
  • Assist with additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management Available shifts:

1st Shift (Day), 3rd Shift (Night), Weekends Job requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a machine operator preferred
