Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $14- $18 / hour What you'll be doing as a
Cable Inspection Operator:
- Operate the Respool Machine in a cable manufacturing facility
- Independently set up and operate the Respool Machine while monitoring product quality and attempting to repair damaged cable when possible
- Use and navigate electronic screens (Human Machine Interface
- HMI) to control machine operations and production equipment
- Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to handle, move, and position heavy reels and cable products
- Accurately maintain production and quality records in accordance with Gulf Cable procedures and systems
- Operate and monitor the drawing control panel using the Human Machine Interface (HMI)
- Properly identify and segregate scrap materials into designated scrap areas
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and safe material-handling practices
- Immediately report any quality concerns or production issues to the Supervisor, Department Manager, or Team Lead
- Load and unload raw materials and finished goods into designated locations
- Assist with additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management Available shifts:
Shift Timings:
1st Shift (Day), 3rd Shift (Night), Weekends Job requirements:- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a machine operator preferred
