• FridayDuties and ResponsibilitiesOperates machine and instructs line help to safely meet production, customer, and company goals and requirementsSupport company Core Values, participate in Safe Work environment, and completes observationsInspect equipment for safetyRead and understand a production orderMeet company productivity requirementsMeet company and customer quality requirementsUse forklift, crane, and manual handling of materials, complete proper documentation for materials producedGood communication with Team, Supervisor, and ManagementMaintain promotability to Operator II and Operator IIIStanding and walking 8 to 12 hours everydayVarying and extreme working conditions outside (Hot, Cold, Rain, Shine)QualificationsQualified candidates should have a minimum of 2 years production and/or shipping experience, preferably in the metals/materials industryExecute assignments as given by the Supervisor or Group LeaderImmediately inform supervision of all equipment, process, material, safety, and quality concernsFollow all work instructions, policies, work rules, safety guidelines, and work proceduresTraining other team members as assignedParticipate in daily housekeeping of assigned areas and other cleanup efforts as assignedParticipate in problem solving, continuous improvement, and customer complaint resolution effortsRead and understand product blueprints and technical data sheets as requiredPerform basic preventative equipment maintenance as assignedAccept reassignment to other departments as workload dictateAbility to lift up to 40 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
