Job Description
What we offer you Medical Rx Dental Vision Disability Life Insurance Flexible Spending Accounts Retirement Savings Plans with Company Match/Contributions What you will be doing 1st shift, from 7am-3pm Able to perform inspection of all equipment in the welded tube area including cranes, annealer, coiler, etc. Perform preventive maintenance on equipment Use jib crane or overhead crane to handle coils. Ensure that material being produced conforms to specs and tolerances. (level wind, OD, etc.) Use of measurement tools to measure tube OD, coil OD & ID, etc. (micrometers, tape measure, calipers, etc.) Operate hoist/cranes to remove material from coiler. (time sensitive) Keep the WIP warehouses area clean and organized. MRT material if found out of spec Set-up, adjust, and monitor in-line annealing system Packs material according to procedures and instructions Set-up, adjust, and monitor purging system Set-up, adjust, and monitor marking systems Breaks to be taken outside of production down time. (profile change outs, set changes) Perform other related duties as assigned to maintain work flow or respond to emergency conditions. Adheres to all company policies and procedures Maintains work area in a clean and orderly condition in accordance with 5 S standards. Requires the ability to perform all duties within limitation of the standard methods and procedures, and in accordance with strict adherence to HSE, quality and productivity requirements. What will make you successful? Ability to handle basic math. Ability to use measuring instruments, such as micrometers, calipers and tape measure, where interpretation is required. Ability to operate a jib crane, overhead crane, and electric pallet jacks. Ability to read and interpret simple reference material such as printed instructions and blueprints. Excellent mental and visual attention to monitor operations involving repetitive or diversified work requiring constant alertness or activity. Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Knowledge of process related standards.
