Detailed Job summary: Review each work order paying very close attention to details for each order to dtermine the correct shape and size to cut the rug.. The pattern / design of each fabricated rug must be centered and balanced meaning that the center point of the rug features the main design element. In order to do this correctly the cutter must have the ability calculate basic mathematics and the ability to use a tape measure in order to properly mark the rug for cutting. Once all measurements are determined the cutter should re calculate all measurements to ensure that everything is correct BEFORE cutting the carpet. Quality - Top quality is of the utmost importance. It is imperative that the cutter applies correct measurements and makes accurate cuts, If carpet is cut incorrectly the mis cut piece becomes un useable and all profits for that particular rug are lost. Equipment - Ensure that all equipment is used correctly and safely.
Equipment used:
Calculator, Tape Measure, laser, knife Minimum requirements: High School / GED. Computer Experience required.
Abilities required:
Ability to use AS400, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Ability to lead by example.
