Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trumpf 2030 Laser Cutting Machine Operator operating a to join our team on the first shift. This entry-level role offers an exciting opportunity to develop skills in precision manufacturing and fabrication processes. As a Laser Cutting Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC laser cutting equipment to produce high-quality sheet metal components. Your enthusiasm and commitment to safety will help ensure efficient production while adhering to quality standards. This position is perfect for individuals eager to start a career in manufacturing with a focus on laser technology and metal fabrication. Duties Operate a Trumpf 2030 laser cutting machine with minimal supervision Load and unload sheet metal materials Safely operate a forklift and overhead crane to move materials Follow work instructions, drawings, and production schedules Inspect parts for basic quality requirements Perform routine cleaning and basic machine care Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area Communicate production and machine issues to supervisors Qualifications High school diploma or GED Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn CNC equipment Experience in safely operating forklift and overhead cranes Ability to read basic measurements and shop drawings Strong attention to detail and reliability Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Prior manufacturing or shop experience is a plus and strongly desired Safety-conscious attitude with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently Strong work ethic with ability to work closely with other team members
