Hood Packaging is currently recruiting for an Inline Tail End Press Operator for our Tifton, Ga facility who will be responsible for assisting the Converting Senior Technician (Operator) with setting up and maintaining production of printing equipment. Included in their duties is ensuring that they read the order properly, ensure all raw materials are available, and follow all quality check requirements and ISO procedures.
Functional Responsibilities:
Quality, quantity, waste amounts, safety of personnel and equipment. Comprehends and follows Operator's instructions, assists in and learns set-ups, shutdowns, and downtime procedure. Responsible for correct order information and selecting proper materials for the order. Responsible for recording accurate information on daily machine reports. Responsible for understanding and ensuring that proper materials and procedures are followed for transporting materials to the Tuber. Must know, follow and demonstrate compliance with all safety rules and understand working safely is a condition of employment. Assist in assuring
HACCP, GMP'S
Work Instructions and Food Safety Quality System requirements (SQF) are in compliance
Functional Requirements:
Work effectively with crew, promoting a team environment Maintain quotas or production standards Safety equipment required (safety shoes, earplugs, safety glasses) Shift work required
Physical Demands:
Bending, stooping, standing, walking on hard surfaces Ability to lift 30- 50 pounds or more throughout the shift Ability to work all shifts including 12-hour shifts Ability to work overtime as necessary Ability to work in hot and cold environments Ability to use hands and arms and legs to operate equipment
