Job Description
- Now Hiring Entry Level Machine Operator
- Job Description
- As a Shredder Operator, you will be responsible for operating shredding and packaging equipment, ensuring smooth material handling, and maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness.
Your role will involve loading, unloading, storing, sampling, and transferring materials, as well as providing relief coverage across departments. You will perform minor equipment maintenance, report issues, maintain accurate records, and sanitize and clean equipment and facilities. Additionally, you will train new team members on OSHA and EPA standards for material handling, effectively communicate with team members, and participate in safety, quality, and productivity initiatives.
- Responsibilities
- + Operate shredding and packaging equipment.
+ Load, unload, store, sample, and transfer materials.
+ Provide relief coverage across departments.
+ Perform minor equipment maintenance and report issues.
+ Maintain accurate records and documentation.
+ Sanitize and clean equipment and facilities.
+ Train new team members on OSHA and EPA standards for material handling.
+ Communicate effectively with team members.
+ Participate in safety, quality, and productivity initiatives.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
- Essential Skills
- + 6+ months of manufacturing experience. + 6+ months of physical labor experience. + Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Additional Skills & Qualifications
- + Forklift operation skills. + Material handling expertise. + RF scanning proficiency. + General labor and production experience.

The position operates on long-term contracts with potential for direct hire, depending on openings. The clean-shaven policy applies in production areas, with beard nets not permitted.

- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $20.
00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
