Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Laser Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC laser cutting machines to produce precision components that meet strict quality standards. Your expertise in machine operation, technical drawing interpretation, and safety protocols will ensure efficient production processes and high-quality output. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced industrial equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment dedicated to excellence and innovation. Responsibilities Set up CNC laser cutting machines, including loading materials, installing tooling, and configuring machine parameters according to production specifications. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing documents to accurately program and operate CNC laser equipment. Utilize CAD (Computer-Aided Design) Conduct dimensional measurements using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify component accuracy. Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of CNC laser machinery to minimize downtime and optimize performance. Follow safety standards in production environments by adhering to industry regulations and best practices for machine operation and materials handling. Collaborate with team members on fabrication processes, assembly line tasks, packaging, and materials management to ensure smooth workflow. Experience Proven experience operating CNC laser cutting machines or similar industrial equipment within a manufacturing or factory setting. Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages, including G-code or proprietary systems related to Fanuc controls. Familiarity with blueprint reading, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), shop math, and interpreting technical drawings for accurate fabrication. Hands-on experience with mechanical blueprint interpretation, tooling setup, and precision measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues on CNC machinery such as laser systems, press brake machines, CNC milling machines, lathes, stamping presses, or flexo presses. Basic understanding of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial safety standards, warehouse procedures, and packaging processes. Prior shop or manufacturing facility experience involving materials handling, assembly line work, tooling management, and quality control practices is highly desirable.
