In this role, you will be responsible for operating laser cutting equipment and supporting various shop floor activities to ensure efficient production workflows. The ideal candidate is energetic, safety-conscious, and eager to learn about fabrication and machining processes. Responsibilities Set up and operate laser cutting machines, ensuring accurate execution of production orders based on technical drawings and blueprints Interpret technical drawings, manufacturing documents, and specifications to produce high-quality parts Perform routine machine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure equipment operates at peak performance Handle materials safely, including loading, unloading, and staging materials for production processes Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions and ensure quality standards are met Assist with fabrication tasks including working with CNC machines like CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, press brake machines, stamping presses, and CAM programming tools Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety standards in production environments Support warehouse activities such as materials handling, packaging finished products, and inventory management Qualifications Previous experience operating industrial equipment such as laser cutters, CNC machines (milling machines, lathes), or fabrication tools is preferred Ability to read mechanical blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately Basic understanding of manufacturing processes including CNC programming and CAM software is advantageous Forklift operation and materials handling is desirable Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment effectively Commitment to safety standards in production environments with attention to detail in quality control procedures Factory or manufacturing facility experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
