Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate blow molding equipment to produce quality plastic products while ensuring efficient production and safe operation. Primary responsibilities include monitoring machine performance, packing finished products, performing light quality inspections, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in producing high-quality products. Duties Operate and monitor blow molding machines to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous production. Pack finished products according to customer specifications and company standards. Perform visual quality inspections throughout the production process to identify defects such as flash, short shots, discoloration, or other product imperfections. Remove defective products and notify supervisors of quality or equipment concerns. Maintain accurate production and quality records as required. Ensure finished goods are properly labeled, packaged, and prepared for shipment. Keep the packing station and production area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards. Follow all company safety procedures, work instructions, and quality standards. Assist with basic machine clean-up, material changes, and other production tasks as directed. Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals and maintain efficient workflow. Qualifications Previous manufacturing or production experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Experience operating production or manufacturing equipment is a plus. Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail and quality. Strong commitment to workplace safety and following standard operating procedures. Ability to identify basic product defects through visual inspection. Ability to stand for extended periods and frequently lift, carry, or move materials up to 50 pounds. Dependable attendance and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Forklift experience or certification is a plus but not required.
