The Machine Operator operates one or more pieces of machinery in a given department. Performs operations efficiently and safely with minimal supervision. Monitors production to ensure quality standards are met. Duties and Responsibilities
• Understand departmental procedures.
• Operate machine(s) per specifications.
• Understand and use specific in process quality checks.
• Document daily production, as required.
• Perform set-up duties and make minor equipment adjustments.
• Immediately report equipment malfunctions or irregularities to supervisor or mechanic.
• Maintain housekeeping in assigned work area and keep equipment cleaned at all times.
• Perform all duties safely and wear personal protective equipment, such as: gloves, apron, glasses, back support, etc.
• Observe all safety rules and immediately report all hazards to the department supervisor.
• Perform other duties as required.
• Be punctual and at work daily.
• Follow all company rules and regulations, per the Employee Manual or department policy. Work Experience and/or Skills
• Some English-speaking capacity desired
• needs to be able to communicate with an English speaking supervisor
• Some knowledge of or experience with machinery assigned highly desired.
• Able to perform tasks in a standing position for long periods of time.
• Good manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination.

Pay:

$18.00

• $19.
