Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Chemical Compounder/Batchmaker to join our client, a global polymer manufacturing company. This is a direct-hire opportunity located in Carpentersville, IL.
What You'll Do:
Charge raw materials to kettles/reactors and mix tanks to produce alkyd and polyester resin batches Follow manufacturing instructions and monitor/troubleshoot equipment and process issues Collect and analyze samples; document steps and adjustments via PLC Batch Logger Package finished product, load/unload trucks, and manage inventory using SAP Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and participate in plant safety initiatives

What You Bring:
High school diploma or GED Experience with batching, mixing, weighing, or compounding Manufacturing experience a plus; chemical operating experience a plus Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk throughout shifts Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills Forklift certification Proficiency with
Microsoft Office Pay:
$29.49 per hour Expected hours: No less than 36.0 per week
