Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. Hours are 6 am - 2:30 pm Monday-Friday. In this role, you will be responsible for operating laser cutting machines to produce precise metal components according to detailed specifications. You will work closely with the fabrication and assembly teams to ensure high-quality output, adhering to safety standards and production schedules. Responsibilities Set up and operate laser cutting machines, ensuring accurate cuts on sheet metal and other materials. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications to meet project requirements. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on laser machinery to minimize downtime and maintain safety standards. Conduct quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances. Utilize hand tools, fabrication equipment, and tooling to assist in material handling, assembly, or secondary operations. Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and cranes safely when moving raw materials or finished parts. Skills Ability to read blueprints accurately and utilize precision measuring instruments like micrometers and calipers for quality inspection. Knowledge of tooling setup, machining techniques, and fabrication methods essential for producing high-quality components. Experience with basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations, and process adjustments. Familiarity with safety procedures related to the operation of hand tools, machinery, cranes, and other manufacturing equipment. Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to work efficiently within a team environment dedicated to continuous improvement. Requirement Must have at least 1 yr experience.

Pay:

$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
