Machine Operator Job Description Join our team as a Machine Operator and enjoy an amazing shift schedule with built-in overtime and a three-day weekend every week. We have openings for 1st shift from Monday to Thursday, 6 AM to 6 PM, and 3rd shift from Monday to Thursday, 6 PM to 6 AM. Responsibilities
+ Review work orders, product specifications, and special instructions to ensure a thorough understanding of production requirements.
+ Assist in loading and setting up machines according to instructions.
+ Follow specifications to mix chemical/adhesive solutions as specified in the work order and safely pump the solution into the machine.
+ Monitor the production process closely to quickly identify any quality issues, stopping the production run immediately if problems are detected, and alert machine operator II and/or production manager.
+ Operate up to two machines competently and assist in operating additional machines as needed.
+ Follow all instructions given by machine operator II or production manager and ask questions when necessary.
+ Identify all finished products with accurate part number, work order number, lot number, and any other required information.
+ Identify equipment problems and inform maintenance and/or the production manager.
+ Make suggestions to improve quality, efficiency, safety, or communication.
+ Verify that the final product meets quality standards and product specifications.
+ Follow all safety practices and immediately correct or report unsafe conditions. Maintain a clean and orderly work area.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
