The General Assembly Operator performs a variety of production and assembly tasks while meeting expectations for safety, quality, productivity, and teamwork. This position is well suited for someone who is dependable, takes pride in doing the job correctly, and is willing to learn new skills and work in different areas as needed. Essential Responsibilities Follow work instructions, safety requirements, and established production procedures. Assemble, inspect, test, label, handle, and package products or components as assigned. Operate basic production tools, fixtures, and equipment after receiving required training. Perform spot welding or other specialized assembly tasks when trained and authorized. Check work throughout the process and identify quality concerns before products move to the next operation. Keep the work area clean, organized, and ready for safe and efficient production. Work at the expected pace while maintaining safety and quality standards. Communicate problems promptly and follow instructions for defective or questionable material. Participate in cross-training and move between production tasks or work areas as needed.

Willingness and ability to learn multiple jobs and follow verbal, written, and visual instructions. Basic communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. High school diploma or GED preferred, unless otherwise required for the position. Reliable transportation / Live within walking distance Physical and Work Requirements Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and perform repetitive hand and arm movements. Ability to use hands and fingers for detailed assembly work and safely handle tools and materials. Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to work scheduled shifts and overtime when required in a manufacturing environment. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and follow all workplace safety rules.
Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
