Job Description
Education and Experience High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Previous production or woodworking experience is preferred Qualifications and Skillsets Demonstrate the ability to lead, motivate, and keep your team engaged Multi-task Computer literate Ability to read, analyze, interpret general information and follow instructions Effectively communicate and listen to the thoughts and ideas of all team members Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals and millimeters Ability to read a tape measure down to a 1/32" Ability to read digital calipers Ability to identify an issue, determine the root cause, and work with the team members to resolve the issue Ability to execute established safety policies and procedures Quality oriented and high attention to detail Good attendance is vital Activity Center Demands Ability to lift over 75 lbs. on a regular basis with proper lifting technique Summer Climate, gets up to 90 degrees in the warehouse Winter Climate, gets down to 50 degrees in the warehouse Moderately Loud Moderately Dusty Must wear safety glasses & ear plugs Essential Responsibilities to the Company Practicing Koetter Woodworking's core values, following the team member handbook, and supporting the company's purpose, mission and corporate goals Following all safety standards and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment Keeping your work area clean and in order to ensure a safe work environment Ensuring quality standards meet the company's and customer's expectations Other duties may be assigned in order to execute Koetter Woodworking's mission statement Essential Responsibilities to this Position Ensuring the materials and supplies for this activity center is coordinated into and out of each work center and deals with any problems that arise before any down time is incurred Along with their team, is responsible for housekeeping in areas that are considered general Ensuring the quality of work performed is consistent with the mission of this activity center Assisting with quality assurance and product specifications Performing the established processes within this activity center, while meeting and/or exceeding the standards and expectations for this position
