Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Truck Driver and become a vital part of our logistics operation! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely transporting freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining compliance with all federal and state regulations. Your expertise in truck driving, route planning, and cargo handling will drive our success and keep our customers satisfied. Responsibilities Safely operate flatbeds, on over-the-road (OTR) routes across multiple states. Navigate using GPS systems to ensure efficient routing and timely deliveries. Load and unload freight with proper manual handling techniques, adhering to safety standards. Transport hazardous materials through DOT (Department of Transportation) guidelines. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo documentation, and delivery records in compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and report any issues promptly. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delivery schedules, and potential delays. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and must pass a background and physical. Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving. Knowledge of truck loading and unloading procedures for freight flatbeds Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time adjustments. Ability to handle manual transmission trucks confidently and safely. Understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules and safety standards related to truck driving. Experience with logistics cargo handling, load & unload processes, and transportation Strong manual handling skills for safe loading/unloading operations.
