Job Description

NSC Staffing has immediate openings on 2nd and 3rd shifts for CNC Machine Operators in Columbus, IN!
Hours:
2nd shift: 3:00pm-11:30pm 3rd shift: 11:00pm-7:30am
Pay:
$20.00/hour Follows standard process controls to setup, run parts and conduct preventative maintenance (PM). Reads and interprets blueprints. Monitor equipment functions. Resolve and/or report equipment abnormalities. Reset automation and machine faults (loading / unloading robots) including vision systems. Use gages and measuring instruments to ensure tolerance requirements. Inspect, deburr, and perform manual operations and/or operate other equipment, including the selection and presetting of tools which will be required for the next job. Performs all machine check per daily requirements. Makes minor adjustment to machines in order to maintain Safety, Quality and Productivity. Reviews work instructions, TPM Time Matrix Sheets, Process Sheets, and/or other documentation related to the operation of the equipment or part specific information on a daily basis. High School diploma or equivalent required Minimum one (1) experience operating a CNC lathe or machining center responsible for loading parts, and inspecting parts Minimum six (6) months experience in a manufacturing setting.
Knowledge of the following:
assembly, parts, machining, ability to read and understand drawings; CNC operation; quality control; and safety. Experience using measuring tools such as drop indictors, dial gages, plug gages, and calipers. Able to work in a fast-paced environment, running multiple operations. #INDLI
