Summary We are seeking a skilled Laser Operator to join our team at Davenport Manufacturing Group. In this role, you will be responsible for operating laser cutting machines to produce high-quality metal components. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our mission of delivering exceptional products and services. Hours 4-10-hour days Monday - Thursday Voluntary Overtime on Friday 1st
Shift:
6 AM- 4:30 PM Responsibilities Operate laser-cutting machine with precision to fabricate metal components to specifications. Remove laser cut parts from sheets to prepare for the next manufacturing operation. Timely and accurate system management to ensure inventory accuracy. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate production. Perform routine maintenance on laser equipment to ensure optimal performance. Utilize measuring instruments to verify the accuracy of finished products. Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Requirements Proven experience as a Laser Operator or in a similar role within metal fabrication. Strong blueprint reading skills and familiarity with technical drawings. Experience with CNC machinery is highly desirable. Knowledge of precision measuring instruments and quality control standards. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
