Job Description

  • Gathers parts, submassemblies, tools, and materials required for the job
  • Positions parts and tools by using templates or reading measurements
  • Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit
  • Utilizes hand held tools and other mechanical equipment
  • Verifies specifications by measuring completed product
  • Resolves assembly issues or product defects by notifying supervisor
  • Reworks and/or repairs assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes
  • Keeps equipment operatonal by following manufacturer's and departmental instructions, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, calling for repairs or repairing the equipment with supervisor's approval
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment according to OSHA and as instructed by the manager to comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Conserve rsources by using appropriate time and energy on equipent and supplies to accomplish job results
  • Documents actions and issues by completing production or quality forms
  • Contributes, support, and be a team player by accomplishing related tasks as needed
  • Performs additional duties that may be given or assigned from time-to-time or as needed due to the demand of business
