Job Description
- Gathers parts, submassemblies, tools, and materials required for the job
- Positions parts and tools by using templates or reading measurements
- Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit
- Utilizes hand held tools and other mechanical equipment
- Verifies specifications by measuring completed product
- Resolves assembly issues or product defects by notifying supervisor
- Reworks and/or repairs assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes
- Keeps equipment operatonal by following manufacturer's and departmental instructions, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, calling for repairs or repairing the equipment with supervisor's approval
- Maintains safe and clean work environment according to OSHA and as instructed by the manager to comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Conserve rsources by using appropriate time and energy on equipent and supplies to accomplish job results
- Documents actions and issues by completing production or quality forms
- Contributes, support, and be a team player by accomplishing related tasks as needed
- Performs additional duties that may be given or assigned from time-to-time or as needed due to the demand of business
